How we make money

5pound.co.uk is free to use, and we want to be completely open about how we keep it running.

Affiliate links

Most of the "Get deal" buttons on this site are affiliate links. When you click one and buy something, the shop may pay us a small commission. This comes out of the shop's marketing budget, not your pocket. You pay exactly the same price as you would going to the shop directly.

We work with affiliate networks including Awin and the Amazon Associates programme. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

Does it affect what we list?

No. A deal goes on the site because it's £5 or less and worth buying, not because of how much commission it pays. Some deals we list earn us nothing at all.

Prices and RRPs

Prices come from the shops and are checked every morning, but they can change at any time. Always check the final price, delivery cost and stock on the shop's website before you buy. Where we show an RRP (recommended retail price), it's the figure supplied by the shop.
